March 2020 - Scholarship and FAFSA Workshop sponsored by WPYC held at Brilliant Mindz Community Center located here in Bogalusa for Seniors & their parents from BHS & VHS . Two of WPYC members spoke to 26 attendees about Juuling. The two WPYC members are Lauryn Smith VHS and Roderick Robinson BHS, both Student of the Year recipients at their school.

South Louisiana Youth Summit on Opioid Awareness October 1, 2019 Lakefront Arena, New Orleans
DEA 360 and the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation, hosted the South Louisiana Youth Summit on Opioid Awareness designed to address the growing opioid epidemic by reaching out to our youth to stop addiction before it starts.
The event has been specifically designed for middle and high school students. Over 50 Washington Parish Youth Coalition members attended the event. WPYC member, LaDerrick Smith, was a featured speaker. Click here to see LaDerrick in action.
